Anyone convert to dual headlights?
I'd like to go from the factory quad lights to a dual setup. I plan on using the United Pacific 31267 LED units which are low and hi beam. I'm just going to make some metal mesh inserts to go where the 2 inboard lights would normally be and remove the housings too.
Does anyone know what would be required wiring wise to get the outter headlights wired up for both low and high controls? Seems like it would be easy but I don't know dick about wiring lol. Thanks!

It is easy. That is how they are wired. Outers are on when in high or low beam. Just have to unhook the inner headlights (high beams)

But if the inner headlights are the high beams, don' I have to do some wiring so when I push the high beam button in the car, it sends a correct signal to the outter light to go into high beam mode?

I'm sure wiring would match the red headed step-child, the 'Maro...

The inners only come on for high beams the outers come on for high and low beam. That's why the outers have a 3 wires to headlight and the inners only have 2.
