Default 69 Emergency brake types (2)

Apparently there are two versions. The one I'm needing help with is the early one. Does anyone have a 68 built 69 with the e-brake pictured. The pull rod is configured differently and mine is broken. I'd like to see what is missing. Instead of pulling through the bracket, like on the later ones, it pulls from the bottom with the rod curving around and using the bracket hole as a guide. The red circle shows where it appears to have broken off.

Here is one from an October 68 Van Nuys Bird. Sorry for the rotated pic.

Thanks! I figured it looked something like that. Now I'll have to make a new piece and weld it on.
