65 GP convertible
We just bought my father in-law’s 65 GP convertible it’s sat in the garage for 20 years I personally have never seen it leave the garage. I know they didn’t have a 65 convertible and my father in-law calls it a brass hat . I looked into the vin# 252675P302311 it comes up Catalina 2+2 . It has a 421 3 speed automatic 4 barrel all the GP badges it has everything. Not sure if we paid to much or to little? What do we have ? Doesn’t have much paperwork can anyone help? Thanks Bill

No GP convertible from the factory in '65. 1967 model year was the only year for GP vert.
If it's something that got modified in the engineering garage (via brass hat) then you'd have to find a shop order or someone that remembers the car. Otherwise it's a Cat that got converted to a GP via a hot rodder. Get the PHS. Not sure if you paid too much or too little (especially if you don't tell us what you paid), but if you're happy that's all that matters. K
