Any of yall go to the run in the sun car show in Myrtle Beach? I go every year. I bought my car from a guy who was more interested in the rat rod look which doesnt really work for a 64 Tempest. Its not in the best shape but its a solid driver it just looks bad. I had two really nice 64 GTOs in my early twenties and god I wish I had them now, one was a four speed and the other an automatic.

Have you been before? I'd like to do it if I could find a group to join up with. I'd be coming down 85 over to 26 from the Charlotte area.

I went a couple of years ago,but didn't take the GTO and didn't get to stay long. There may be a couple more from SC going this year, but they haven't confirmed yet.

Just found this thread, live in Travelers Rest area. I have a '68 GTO that I got in 2014. Previous owners have built it where it is now. Most of the car's info is on this thread:
http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...d.php?t=803027
Due to severe spinal troubles have not put my personal touch on it yet or fixed the problems it has. Surgery scheduled this summer. Glad to know of you all in the area. Maybe it would be feasible to give each other a hand with problems, you might know what I don't and viceversa. Hopefully this thread will keep going. Thanks to 64speed for starting it.

Anyone know of an upholsterer in Greenville area that can fix the seat as well as cover it. Mine has a severe lean back problem and the slide is messed up
