Default Run in the sun 2018

Who all is going this years and what are you bringing? I just booked our room cause I had a coupon. This will be the first time in a few years that me and my wife will be childless for the show. I know it’s not till March but I am already excited about cars and a kid free weekend LOL

Default RUN TO SUN

Our car club in T.R. will have 10-12 cars there. All different cars. I will probably take my 65 Goat. Took Vette last year.

I plan on being there with my 66 Tempest Convertible. I'm also trying to talk a friend of mine from NJ with a 65 Tempest Wagon to show up. It was a blast last year. They have dates yet?

I’ve been going for 18 years now and the weather has been all over the place. I have been when you could get in the ocean and I have been when you had to wear a heavy jacket. I have had it mist rain some but never had it rained out. Oh well watch that happen this year LOL. At least there is always the Brazilian steakhouse to look forward to

My wife and I are staying at the breakers which is where we stayed last year. Really nice place by Myrtle beach carnival standards and if you don’t mind a two block walk you can avoid the shuttle and walk to the show. Also has a controlled access parking garage so if you’re worried about your car.

Unhappy

Getting really excited for the show this year already hoping for good weather and as always a good turn out. Any other members interested in getting together and going to the Brazilian steakhouse one night? Expensive but oh so wonderful

I am gonna be scoping out A body Pontiacs as a way to get ideas for mine. I remember two years ago there was a copper 66 GTO that the guy had used all polished Allen head fasteners on the front end sheetmetal attachment points. I am sure it was incredibly expensive but man it was beautiful against that copper

I'll get there Thursday afternoon and will probably stop by the show field for a little while. I will be there all day Friday and Saturday. I almost always park at the back of the field

7 days hope the weather holds out. We have a full itinerary this year but I am so looking forward to it. Before the prices went thru the roof a few years ago I used to wheel and deal and trade and I always had something neat to bring but as I got older and married etc I got out of having one of my own and just enjoyed the shows. Now I want to hurry and finish mine so I can cruise again

I got home a couple hours ago. The weather turned out nice for the most part. Thursday was very windy and a little cool and we had a small rain shower Saturday. I believe I heard that there were 3260 cars registered for the show. We had a great weekend.
