Default Car Shows in or around the Tampa/Sarasota/Ft.Myers

How is the car show scene in this part of Florida? Can't wait to get down there. 30 days until my house closes and we're there.

There's a few car shows in N. Ft. Myers during the year. My dad lives there and there always seems to be one. Fort Myers will have shows in the downtown area every so often. Usually very nice cars when they are held there.

Plenty of car shows here on the west coast of central Florida, but not during the summer months. No shortage of car events the rest of the year:

Here's a start:

Love Saturday nights in Old Town Kissimmee, although it's been a while since I've been over there. Sit at a sidewalk table, drink a beer in the little downtown area, and watch all the cars cruise by. Perfect!

Yup, and twice a year. Massive show at Thanksgiving and one heckuva lot of walking. You will be exhausted walking the Daytona infield.

Grab a hotel room on the beach and make a weekend out of it! Cruises galore too.

Thanks. Yea, I probably won't hit a lot until we find a house and me a new job. Those are the two top priorities but after that I'm certainly going to try to get to some local shows.

I doubt I'll get over to Daytona at least this year.

Daytona is the biggest show there is in Florida. The Jax Pontiac Club parks near Turn 4.

If you're interested in exotics, there's a car show in Naples on Feb 9th that is simply amazing:

http://www.carsonfifth.com

Ferrari's, Lambo's, Alfa's, Porsche, Rolls, Masserati's...everything imaginable. Dealers come from all over the state. It's pretty wild to see blocks and blocks of high-end cars, some valued in the millions.

Thanks. They really don't float my boat but if my friends are down and if I have time I might venture down to see it.

Send a request via email to get on this car show mailing list:

PAUL (LET'S ROLL PRODUCTIONS)

pfigoni1@verizon.net

He runs many car shows in the area and is kinda in charge of a Pontiac group in the area.

Very nice...I had a car almost just like that one back in the 80s. Mine was a '68 '300'. Very similar, even down to the color combo.
