Original style glass channel weatherstrip
Can someone please post a pic of the original style F227K glass channel weather strip on the 1967 GTO coupe. I posted earlier looking for a set because our host supplier is on back order, but I found the deluxe set from another supplier that advertises in our legend magazine. They describe them as having rounded stainless like the original style. Mine are flat and more than likely the aftermarket ones, which were on the car when I bought it. The pics in the Ames catalog aren't clear enough.

I just revived replacement ones from E-Bay. Everyone seemed to be back ordered on these. The originals have a chrome bead. The ones I revived have a flat chrome trim. The original is the bottom one in the picture.

I was just checking posts by you, Mike S, to see if you got them yet. So, you ok with those or are you going to keep looking? I'm still debating whether to wait or get those before there is possibly no choice at all.

Yes, I am going to use them. I have one side installed. They fit very well. with shipping they came to $84. They do not have the factory correct look. I am not doing a restoration so not really worried on whether they are factory correct. They are for my race car. Need to stop the windows from banging when I shut the doors.

I got the original f227k weather strips Wednesday, I ordered and paid for them in mid January and they did finally come, so if you ordered and paid for them hang in there, it took almost eight weeks but I got them.
