Yes it is crystal turquoise. It pops in the sun and is mellow in the shade.

Verdoro 68: "Now with UMI 1" lowering springs. Took a little finessing on the front springs to get them where I wanted."

Very nice, indeed! Love the red-lines. Are those a more modern looking Rally II? I'm leaning towards that for a future upgrade. Did I miss what size rims (17's?) and tires?

Thanks!

Jim.

Thanks! They are Year One Rally IIs. 17x8 up front and 17x9 in back. I actually ended up cutting a little more coil off the front springs after that pic. My wheel/tire/spring saga is here: https://forums.maxperformanceinc.com...1228&p=6147522

Thumbs up Modern 'Crystal Headlight' Option, 5.75"

Wanted to share a modern halogen headlight upgrade I did as a direct replacement for the standard 5.75" bulbs. It really changes the look of the front end!

- 5.75 in. Crystal Headlight
- United Pacific #31386
- Summit $36 each, cheaper on eBay...

Freshly purchased from a Forum member..... Thanks Scott!

Yup, this is the car on the cover of HPP in January 2006. Sorry for not having a better (fresh) picture. This was taken yesterday while it was still in its winter slumber.

Regards,
Old Joe

'68 that I bought in '73 as a toy for $800. Std. 400, auto, console, around 60k miles. I added a 068 cam and tri-power, Vette wheels, tires from my '70Z. Sold it in '75 for $1,200 for a down payment on a house.

@Hoov Daddy: Nice! April Gold exterior? Vintage shots are always cool! Do you know if the car is still around?
