Default Rally II date code range and price

Two questions for you guys.

I have a 70 Judge with a build date of 10A and I'm looking for correct wheels.
What is an acceptable date range?
What are 4 unrestored wheels with matching date codes worth?

thanks for the help

Wheels changed around 3rd week of January 1970 from JL to JT. Caps changed from black to red at the same time.
Wheels dates on origi al cars ive had are usually 1 month to 2 months before build date ..

Early 70 Pontiac A-body's when equipped w Rally II wheels received JL's.
These were installed with "2 piece" rotors or with drums on drum brake cars.

Motorwheel, the supplier began to produce the JT coded 14x6 Rally II on 11/25/69
JT's have a slightly different offset & were designed to be used with the newly introduced integral hub rotor. Late Dec of '69 builds is earliest I've personally removed JT wheels from.

The date span between wheel production & actual installation on cars varies to a degree between assembly plants & the time of the year. It has been very helpful over the years to note the dates of born with wheels on very original cars. When there are wide gaps in time, one has to take in effect the results of a few UAW strikes which idled production lines.

On one of my keepers, it was originally built with a combination of 3/2/71's & 3/3/71 KU coded 14x6 Rally II's. That particular car was assembled 3/31/71 & nearly 1500 miles away from MotorWheels plant in MI. On a previous '71 project, it had two 7/7/70 dated JT's when I acquired it, & that particular Judge was built 08C... very early car. In that cars instance, the model year shutdown & changeover for the new model year contributed to the 6+ week span.

My 1970 GTO was built in Baltimore on December 30, 1969 and was fitted with "JT" Rally II wheels.

I wonder what the difference is between 69 JA's and early 70 JL's?
