Quick update...

1969 Poly Bushing
PST # (POLY34114)

The kits missing the inner front fender bushing, what the hell. Shop had to order them separately and pause completion.

The bolts on mine were only tough to get out in the front fender area. I'll find out soon but it's looking like 15+ hours of shop labor to do this on a factory original 1969 Convertible GTO body bushings on a car from the IL area.

Per the website filter, I ordered SKU: POLY34115 for my 1970 GTO. I would've thought it would be the same kit for 1969 and 1970.

Wonder if that set is also missing the inner front fender bushings?

Check out how rusted, compressed and cracked the 50 year old bushings were.

I got no complaints about the AMK bolts from the mechanic.

Will probably ride and handle a bit better with that mess out of there

It will ride way different. I remember doing it to my 72 formula and was a big improvement. I need to do my vert since it too sports her originals. Let us know thoughts about the ride??

They had to remove the Fender Wells to get at the ones tucked away in the Fender area.

Then I never heard back from PST on if the kit I bought was just missing the 2 bushings or if that's how the kit comes.

I have a new issue which is the radiator core support is rusted away where the bushings meet the core support bottom. Looks like I'll have the body shop repair it and paint match it to the body repair. I guess I'm doing fender wells and firewall now and start a partial engine body resto while the engines out.

I've called PST a number of times to check on the 70 kit I bought from them and sat on indefinite hold each time. Wonder what's going on?

The pic for POLY34115 shows 3 more bushings (31 vs 28) than your 69 kit (POLY34114), which makes no sense (odd amount?) and I'm sure the image is just 'representative '.

Guess we'll see...

Another PST question...did anyone receive a tube of the 'polylube' to use when installing the bushings or just use white lithium grease? Assuming to eliminate any noise/squeaking?

Per the PST website FAQs -

Do I need to lubricate Polygraphite bushings prior to installation?
It is best practiced and highly recommended that the polylube that is provided with the PolygraphiteŽ bushings be used. Apply liberal amounts of polylube during installation. If polylube is unavailable, good quality white lithium grease can be used.
