I think some of the late 20s Pontiacs also used a oval back window.
I am also going for a traditional rod mid 60's period and they definatly look better without fenders

This is what I have to work with. Someone put T3 headlights on the light bar. I think the chrome headlights are original but I am not sure. The dash panal is made out of brass or copper. The rust is on the bottom of the cowl. That is the 34 frame.

Given you are taking the fenders off, a pair of Electroline 2200s would look real nice on that car. I've got a NOS pair that I've been saving, but since I'll one day own your Pontiac (hint, hint) I'd be okay selling them to you...

I have a set of chrome king bee headlights with a extra amber bulb in the reflector for the park turn signal light. Everything is for sale for the right price

Raise the floor in the body to drop it lower over the frame.

Usually done the same height as the frame rails.

Mini truckers usually refer to this as a 'body drop', but chanelling is the old hot rodders term for lowering the body on the frame.

A 'highboy' is a car the has not been chanelled.

Ok in this pic you can see how the body is sitting on the frame it looks un hot rod. With the channel we drop the body down over the frame giving the car a cleaner look. Channels can be extreme in some cases more often seen in the rat rod crowd. I am only doing a mild channel about 2.5" I will be dialing that in on wedensday. I also decided to job the rear rails and go with a trunk mounted gas tank instead of using th original tank mounted behind the car (see earlier pics )

here is another pic you can see how much frame is exposed especially in the front at the cowl. My original plan was to only channel the front but with the change to the gas tank it was a no brainer to channel the whole body. The pontiac has a very nice curved rocker panel on a ford it is much straighter but ford guys have the option to put it on a 32 frame which is a sculpted frame and looks great.

Let me start over. I know how to build hot rods. I'm doing a 2.5/3 raked chop 30/31 Ford on 32 frame highboy now (a build spawned by a NOS electroline 2200 pair purchase). I was just interested in the details of your build. How much channel and whatnot. I'm a man of few words... A few more; the car looks badass.
