charlie, do you have any pictures of your turbo set up? its currently a v8 or you are converting to a v8 from the 4?

Im keeping the 4 cyl for now. I decided not to go 8 because it was cheaper to say with the 4.

Thats honestly impressive at how close you where able to come to the frame without touching all the while keeping form and function. Impressive!

It actually looks real close in the picture but its got like 3/8" clearance ..

Thanks for the props though..

These log headers work real well. I changed over from a real 1 7/8" tube header with 3 1/2" collector pushing 40 psi to this log and it made NO decrease in power what so ever.. These logs are also more universal for fitting different body/frame styles.. All you guys will be very happy with them if you ask me...

Finally received my Turbo manifolds and I am more than impressed with the quality of the welds and overall look... The ceramic coatings look amazing as well!!!

The only unfortunate part of receiving these is the fact that It will be well over a year before they get used.... Just like any build, it all comes together in the end.

Looks great, awesome to see a bolt on, affordable V band for the Pontiacs. Would like to see any future GTO cross over for a single turbo and down pipe and the twin turbo down pipes.

These are the best I could get with the poor lighting I have around my home... I can take better pics tomorrow...

I honestly think they look great inside and out.

I have purchased shorty's and long tube headers from big name manufactures that honestly looked like crap... Gibson is the first one to come to mind...

That looks very nice for the price. Also being a thick wall stainless, its not going to develop leaks like a SS tubular headers would. Almost bought one but I already have a complete system. Its going to be more turbo Pontiacs next year!!!

Thanks, they look great! Wish they were around for d ports 6 years ago. That was the worst part of going turbo at the time.

So has any determination been made if these manifolds will work with a serpentine system such as the March setup?

I have not yet... and it will be a long while before I find out (at least 1 year) however I do plan to run a serpentine system.

After talking with Steve with Stainless Header, he said he does not see any reason they would not. The end of the header is well behind the belt/accessory line. At that point you just clamp on what ever bend it is that you need to direct the exhaust to the desired Turbo mounting location.

So I honestly do not see an issue with a serpentine belt system.

Hopefully someone who has purchased these will be able to post some installed picks...

Just came across this thread. Has anyone confirmed if they fit a 2nd gen f-body? With E-heads or Highports? My brother has a ‘72 TA 455ho 4spd car he’s been working on for years. We already have a complete procharger blower set up with front mount air to air intercooler that’s already done, but it’s a smaller blower. Twin turbos would be a better choice.

Plus I’m currently looking for a ‘70 - ‘72 TA for myself. I’ll buy a set if they fit without issue.

Any input? Mock up pics?

I know they fit in a 76 fbody with the engine in the stock location (offset to the passenger side). Don't have mock up pics of that for proof. But we have to do a little clearancing of the frame for the driver's side to fit when centering the engine in the chassis.

finished up a motor for a friend and had some time to mock these up on a 455. any front plate will require some creative thinking to get where you need to be. anything else should be fine. on the passenger side of a 455, under the #2 cylinder, there is a little casting kick out. this will have to be ground down to get the headers to bolt flush. i thik it is something the factory used for moving the engines into positon on the assembly line. Non issue for a turbo build, but it is a statement as to how tight these hug the block. I will fit them up on my IA2 in the next week or so.

I purchased mind for my 69 bird... I have not test fitted them as of yet. Still a ways away from doing so. But I honestly dont expect to have any issues. These hug the block pretty closely.
