Agree, very doable with a 400 and still very streetable. Plenty of engines smaller than that making over 500hp that make fine street engines.

IAII A with a 4.320" bore x 4.21" stroke (Ohio crank 4340), 494 ci Crower forged rods/Ross pistons SD CNC heart chamber Eddy RP heads that flow 335 cfm 246/252 at 0.050", 0.400" lobe CC HR on a 112 LSA Northwind with an 850 cfm carb Have all the parts, just need to balance the rotating assembly and put together. Will run with a TH400, 3500 stall converter and a 3.07 rear gear in a '72 LeMans convertible.

Solid roller 296/304 @.020 260/267 @.050 4.210 lobe lift 112 LSA 10.42 SCR (would have to double check) 4L80e 3.73 No dyno time Thanks to Steve C on cam, spring, retainer selection. I think I would have gone 114 LSA and liked it a little more. Idles at 850 RPM, 11" vacuum, PB & A/C works as desired, drives easy, and becomes a monster with throttle. Pics attached, but most have seen already.... .

No dyno time, I kind of didn't care what the dyno numbers are.
E-heads, round port, Butler @320cfm type. The head flow is what probably holds it back some, 330s or 345s would have been better, but kind of didn't want to wait longer for them. .

We had to use a quick fuel 750 for the dyno (don’t ask) so probably left some on the table. Car is predominantly street driven.
