When my low beams are on the high beam indicator light is on, and vice versa. I also don't have any dash lights, fuse is ok.
Are the headlights plugged in wrong or what for the indicator problem? Cholesterol Bad Adrenaline Good Do it till your eyes bug out!

if all of your dash lights are out , it is most likely that either a wire is cut or the headlight switch is bad. not sure about the indicator light though.

On the 69 Tempest wiring diagram, power goes from the light switch to the dimmer switch. In high beam,it leaves the dimmer switch and goes to all headlights and the dash indicator light. A light green wire is high beam at the dimmer switch and at the plug in the instrument panel. A black with green stripe wire is the high beam wire at the headlights. I hope that helps.

yes , it might be worth checking the dimmer switch too. the reason that i didn't mention it is that any i have had go bad , do so on one circuit. for example, i have low beams on , hit the dimmer and all the lights go out. anything is possible with electrical gremlins though!
