Hi,
I have a 68 with 15x7 Cragars and 225P65-15 BFG tires. No rubbing. There was a post in Jan that has many different combinations of wheels and tire sizes.

Go with the original tires G-70 look great are the right height - fill up the wheel well - no rubbing and the new ones are belted and ride as good as a radial - and hook up good, the pure stock guys are running 11.50's on them.
The good year G70 is a bit wider than the firestone. The tread is also closer so they do not pick up and throw stones on your nice paint. I can't think of a single reason to run a radial tire except maybe price - the original style tires are about $200.00 each
