Default 250 Sprint Harmonic Balancer FS (Used)

Removed from a 1969 Tempest Sprint Automatic, this is the smaller of the Sprint Harmonic Balancers used in 69, it will also work on 68's.
P/N 9791723
Probably usable as is, as it does not show any slippage but I would have it restored. All 3 removal bolt holes are good, no damage to the belt pulleys.
$100 USD's picked up, $125 USD's shipped to the lower 48 states. Other locations possible for actual shipping costs.

Many other parts available, I am going to sell all my specific 250 Parts. Looking for something? PM me I may have it.

Ive never seen a "smaller" 68-9 Sprint balancer.

Are you certain its a 69 Sprint?

It came off of my old 69 Tempest Spring Automatic. It looked original it was a very base car, manual steering and Brakes. The 2 speed automatic was about the only option.

I do have a Larger 69 Top Hat Style Balancer I am going to send out to be rebuilt along with my 67 Balancer. The Top Hat one will be available after its rebuilt, but for more $$$

The Larger one came off the 69 Tempest Spring 4-speed I had. I always assumed the one with the smaller balancer was because it was an automatic, but I could be wrong. I was not the original owner of any of the 15+ sprint cars I owned over the years.

Jeff I agree, I have only seen 1 4BC Damper used for '68-'69 4BC.

Here's a compiled list of Pt #'s that I believe to be most if not all factory HB's
The first image is the 1BC with the last 4 showing a VHTF 4BC.

At this point, any/all dampers are hard to come by, but IMO the '68-'69 4BC has to be the hardest.

Crankshaft Damper;

9783090 GM ’66 1BC
9782289 GM ‘66 4BC
9783089 GM ‘66-67’ 1BC
9778553 GM ‘67 1BC
9778557XR – 9783100XR GM 66-’67 1BC HB/DAMPER PULLEY
9778551 GM ‘67 4BC
9792484/9792478 GM ‘68-‘69 4BC
9792538 (250) 4BC
9791717 GM ‘68-‘69 1BC
9791723 GM ‘69 1BC
9792984 GM 68-69’ 4BC

Cheers.

For those of you that need to know
the internal hub on some 1 bbl ones will work on 4bbl outer halves.
this fixes the 3 busted bolt bosses used for the puller.

OK we will call it a 1bbl balancer, I did mark it when I removed it from the 69 Tempest Sprint, but it is what it is. Still a very nice part, no chips on the pulleys or damage to the 3 puller holes.

Gary I can check it in a couple of weeks, I had to go to IL for work, but if I remember correctly the spacing on a 68-69 is different than a 67.

yea my solution to 68 motor in 67 was to machine a 67 4bbl balancer to fit the 68 crank
