Have this 68 colored gauge/speedometer face bezel but the bolt pattern is 69 - 72. What is it for?

It is not resprayed, has number 6482773 on it. I'm totally stumped.

OK, mystery sort of solved. 73 parts book shows it as 69 Firebird and 69 Tempest, GTO. Really, with the gun metal color and not black? Guess I have a one of none.

Interesting that it's the same # as my black 69 one . When did Pontiac stop using "gasoline" on non-rally gauges ? 69 or 70?

"Gasoline" logo was used on 68 gauges and one of the black ones I have also has same number.
