Critter,

No need to prepay. Let's get it in and make sure it looks the part first, but I definitely thank you for the offer.

Just an FYI by the way. Given the new cost and minimum order quantity, this will probably be the only run made for this color. So for myself, I plan to stockpile several sets for the future. I think Steve is planning to do the same. Unfortunately it will be very difficult to recover the cost on low production colors.

James

Is there a great difference between Polar White and Cameo White ??
If there is a plan to do Polar in the future ,I will wait, even if the price goes up for a lower production run. If non planned maybe a Cameo set won't look worse than faded originals ? Opnions required, thanks, Bruce.

No one has noticed that my 71 Lucy blue has black welting or they've been very polite to me.
But, I've waited 20 years to change it. Count me in for Lucy blue.

Grnmtgoat,

As soon as I know for sure about the low production colors, I'll post about it here. I know Steve has been batting around some ideas with a bunch of Lucy blue guys that might lead us to a way to deal with those colors.

Thanks,

James

I will have more information in a few weeks. Cameo White should be arriving in about three weeks. I should have enough to cover everyone that has expressed an interest.

Thanks,

James

A quick update: I just received notice that the Extruder received the material last Friday and will be running it hopefully this week. I am looking forward to seeing the finished product. I will pose some pictures when it arrives.

CAMEO WHITE

The Bad News......After 10 days of being lost in transit. Travelling through 7 or 8 different states 3 to 4 different freight terminals and being totally destroyed in the process. Literally, it looks like they ran over it with the truck!!!!!

The Good News.......It looks like I will be able to salvage about 1/10th of it, which should at least cover those of you that have expressed an interest. See the final product below...Right now I am mad enough to spit nails. I probably have to wait for a freight adjuster to view this mess so I can file a claim, that I am sure they will try to deny. I think I got enough out to get started shipping out. It is not enough for them to notice. Anyway, for those of you that want to order. PM me your Name, Shipping Address, Paypal Account email and I will send you an invoice. 1 16 ft section will fit in the small USPS Flat Rate Box which costs $6.80(I think) in freight. For those that want multiple sets, I will try to get them in as small a Flat Rate Box as I can.

In the next few days, I will also try to get an Ebay auction up for it as well for those of you that would prefer to have the buyer protection that is offered by that transaction as well.

James

PM sent. I was going to order 2 sets but I'll just take one for now so we can spread the love on this. If you get more I'll order a second set.
