I know the indications are that these are as good as Edelbrock and Kauffman heads but I just can’t see it for that much less money. I need to see some real street testing. Until someone puts 10,000 miles on one without dropping a valve seat or overheating them once and warping the hell out of them what do we really know?

We have sold a few Pontiac sets and many more for others makes.

These are just like the first couple on the dance floor or the first kid to dive into the pool. Once someone does, others will follow.

High Performance Injuns is leading the charge to prove these $1799 heads are winners or losers and so far they look like winners. Stay Tuned!

They do look very good.

I hope these bring down the pricing of the other heads. FiTech went through the same stigma of being a cheap knockoff of more expensive injection setups, but once people realized it wasn't, other manufacturers needed to start pricing accordingly.

A few years back we took a set of KRE's where the Chambers were cnc'd heartshaped to 72cc and mill them down to 65cc
Is there enough meat in these with the chamber design to do that?

These have a 5/8" deck so you could mill a 1/16" and see where that takes you.

Default SpeedMaster Head Material Tests

Thanks to Scott Roberts we have the tests back on the SpeedMaster Heads. I know not everyone can understand these results but what it comes down to is, as Scott states it, "Basically the aluminum is good quality A356".

Good material, good machine work, good price. Looks like a good head.
$1799 a pair complete with free shipping. PayPal.me/RPMtv

The tensile test put it right at the bottom scale of 6061 and top scale of A356..to be honest , I was surprised by the quality of the aluminium since it was Chinese.....

It is a quality casting...science proves that...the material is probably better than e-heads as it is at the top of the the A356 scale... e heads are A356 also... not sure where they fall in the scale but it cant be better than these heads as they are at the top.

I see that Speedmaster is no longer selling these heads on eBay. Not a single sold listing either. Did they drop them or are CNC versions coming out to replace them?

My point is Speedmaster initially introduced these heads through eBay and they are no longer listed though they still sell the Mopar, BBC and Olds versions of these heads.

I'm selling these heads faster than Speedmaster can produce them. 4 more sets this week.

Been busy getting the PontiacSpeedShop.com website put together. It's a project.

Just reordered the rockers I sold at Norwalk and hopefully in the next few weeks I can fire up a test mule with Speedmasters on it.

Stay Tuned!

We had to have more live lobster flown in for the Crustacean Connoisseurs!

Decent turnout considering all that was going on - and a good time was had by all!
