Default 1971 TRANS AM HEADLINER

What have you seen for headliner material for a 71 Trans Am perforated or non-perforated ? I’m seeing both non-perforated on an early car and perforated on a later car if the date makes a difference . also anybody have a supplier for a good color match for the blue.

healidners for 71 were the bow type stretched fabric, didnt think they were perforated. the perforated foam backed vinyl was for 73 & later. if thats what you meant by perforated.

they make a perforated vinyl ABS backed headliner now for early cars without the roof mounted retractable belts notches cut out, i decided to go that way in my 72 instead of teh original bow type, requires some mods to make the later style front/back &side trim panels to fit.

Perforated material was part of custom trim (deluxe). Standard interior cars had non-perforated material.

Almost 20 years ago purchased a blue R.E.M. Automotive brand replacement headliner from Ames Performance. Color and material was a match to the original.
