Default Did some threads recently get deleted?

I was sure that there was a discussion in the last couple months about auto darkening welding helmets;
I had thought I even subscribed to it.

I cannot for the life of me find this thread now.

I had thought that earlier this winter I was talking to my wife about this as something I needed to look into, and showed her the info that members here were sharing.

The thread I'm thinking of was a couple pages long.

Now the closest match I can find is from last year, and it's one page long.

Maybe I have been doing searches with the wrong terms, assuming it hasn't been deleted, can anyone link the thread?

I don't recall any recent discussion, nor remember any about welding helmets being deleted. I did some searching and couldn't find anything in the last few months.

it went on about brands people were recommending, and sizes of lenses and how they work;
I believe one member had one which was older, but still unused in the box - and he was going to take it out to see if the lens was still good.

I keep my helmet in the garage, pointed to sunlight, so it trickle charges.

Hey, good idea ... no windows so maybe I'll put it under a light somewhere.

DO NOT REMEMBER THE THREAD.

I must have missed it as I enjoy welding discussions.
Worked my way thru college doing commercial welding at three different companies in the summers.

Mig, Tig, and Stick welding.
