Two years ago there was a guy at the PN selling them. Does anyone have a sorce for these type stands?

hey skip....i bought one of those stands from that guy. he was somebody trying to make a few bucks.
the stand is made from 1" mild-steel box tubing, 2-vertical "T" uprights for the engine and 4 casters.

Larry, close, but they are two seperate pieces one for left, and one for right. I haven't seen the Pontiacs version but the Ford and Chevy have the bar going to the motor mount boss at an angle not vertical, not sure on where to get them from, but can possibly findout tomorrow.

Larry , As he said one upside down T piece for each side so you can even bolt a tranny to it.They look like the are 2" tubing.

i need to weld-up one similar to the one i have.
it does the job just fine. casters can be obtained from harbor frieght for little money.
i'll incorporate the fixture to include mounting for the trans.
of course, this will be after i get the new motor fired up in the t/a.
