Doing a Disc Brake upgrade on my GTO. While I'm not seriously considering rear discs in the first wave, I was wondering who has added them to their car. Wondering what the increased performance is, is it worth the money, etc. It appears the installation is relatively straightforward on a 8.2 rear.

I will be installing disc's on my car once I start doing the frame. I am probably going to use Wilwoods on the front and Baers on the back.

can anyone speak to the improvement in braking performance ? Is it worth the extra money on our old Goats/Birds ?

I had manual drums all the way around on my 68 goat and put power assist front disks on them. I am very happy with the performance. The car brakes like any other modern car with the same pedal effort.
