Default 2013 PY/Pypes Openhouse - June 14-15

In June 2013, Performance Years & Pypes Exhaust will be holding our 3rd annual Openhouse & Car show. And you are all invited!

Now that we are on our 3rd year, our main goal is to keep the growing momentum of this event going. The number of Pontiacs at the 2012 event was staggering, but we think 2013 will blow those numbers out of the water. We are adding more fun and entertainment to make the event even more enticing.

Pre-registration for Saturday's car shows is now available. We are using online pre-registration again this year, based on the success of last year. Pre-registering is less expensive and much quicker than registering at the registration booth on the day of the show. Click here to get pre-registered.

In the Pontiac Car Show, we've expanded the car classes in order to accommodate the growing numbers of Pontiacs and owners. The Firebird/TransAm and Grand Prix classes have each been broken out into more classes and a new G8 class has been added.

This year we are moving the PY Forums Members Reunion to Friday night, following the casual cruise through Lansdale. Join us and lots of Forums members for food, drinks and merriment before the hustle and excitement of Saturday's attractions begin.

Every fan of Pontiacs and American musclecars & trucks is invited to come out for this excitement filled weekend. Show your car, checkout other rides or kick back with crowds of other enthusiasts, we want to see you there.

I just checked and there are only 127 days left until this year's Openhouse. For those of you not in the area, it's probably time to start making your travel plans.

We'll have details soon about a hotel discount we're setting up with the local Holiday Inn.

Default Holiday Inn Hotel reservations

Hi Everyone
We finally have the Holiday Inn hotel block and discount pricing worked out.

The discount rate is: $105.00/night
All those folks need do is: Call: (215) 368-3800

Tell the clerk you are registering for the "Performance Years/Pypes" show and you will be given a $105.00 per night discount. There is no code for that. You just need to mention you are registering for the show.

The rate is good for the nights of June 14th & 15th.

Steve

All of you who attended last year's show should be happy to learn that is looks like we will be able to get Clemens Road closed for this year's openhouse (Saturday). Clemens Road was the road that split the Pontiacs on the grass field from our headquarters & showroom. That means there will be no traffic on that road and no need for a cross walk.

2 months to go, who's getting excited?

More details are being confirmed for this year's Openhouse.

I was just told that we have a 2nd food vendor confirmed for Saturday's Car shows. The high school basketball team will be returning again this year to cook and serve the Hatfield Meats products (hotdogs, BBQ rib sandwiches, sausage sandwiches, etc...). Plus, this year, we've got a 2nd food vendor serving shrimp, wings(hot & mild), fries and drinks. We're planning to have them setup near the Pontiac show.
This should greatly reduce the lines for food and give everyone more tasty options to choose from.

It's also been confirmed that the air conditioned hospitality suite and swap meet area will be more centrally located this year.

There will also be a limited amount of indoor parking for featured vehicles by our hospitality area. If you have a vehicle you'd like to include in the indoor featured vehicle area, please email it's details (and pictures if possible) to me.

Less than 6 weeks left.
Don't forget to pre-register your car online to save yourself time and money on show day.

Steve

Steve, will RV parking in the back and use of the facilities be the same as last year?

It will not be exactly the same as last year.
This year RV parking will be by the Pontiac show field (near the registration tent). There is a building right there that RVs will be able to get electricity from.
People bringing RVs will be right in the thick of it with much easier access to their RV from the Pontiac show field.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Steve

Mitch, I guess all your drunken shenanigans and back lot reverse burnouts got us banned from staying there this year.... Shame on you.

FYI
Trailer parking and unloading will still be behind the building this year.
Unfortunately we lost the bathrooms and the electric hookup back there when another company moved into the other half of our building.
So we found an even better place for the RVs.

I'm setting up web cams to capture any shenanigans. America's funniest home videos, here I come.
