455 street/strip motor
.030 over venolia pistons...11-1 compression
fairly stock bottom end...crank and rods .010-.010... assembly balanced seasoned block... completely deburred... rod beams polished and small ends bronze bushed moroso oil pump and milodon oil pan comp cams solid shaft and comp cams push rods... Edelbrock heads...mild port work... very little run time on this engine. Recently freshened and dyno'd. healthy but streetable pump gas motor. looking to sell as my new motor is here. complete with ignition... less...intake and carb.. which I will sell if someone is interested in the victor intake with holley 800 dp 4,500.00 or best reasonable offer for more info.. please email me at nberk@rogers.com thank you all NB Last edited by Stormin; 02-12-2017 at 04:42 PM. Machine work was done by Steffen engine machine in Oshawa , Ontario...
and they and myself did the assembly. Round port heads Car was on the chassis dyno last fall...a little over 400 hp to the back wheels.. that was a 5500 pull....hp graph still going in a positive direction. We were happy and stopped there. Last edited by Stormin; 02-12-2017 at 11:16 PM. |
