GTX
Typo? or fellow Mopar owner? My wife's 65 421GOAT will be there "soon" once the 421 rebuild is fished around the 3rd and once I put the 4 speed back in my Roadrunner...this week before.

No typo here but I did make a mistake I thought i registered my GTX but I checked and it was my 1973 yellow Cuda that we registered so that God willing will be the car I bring. If you get a chance swing through the Cajun RV on Hwy 90 and look me up. Ken

6900+ vehicles registered the first day! They think they may break 7k. Haven't checked yet today if they did.

I saw your beautiful GTX at the campsite last night, but I'm sure you were at the the roadside watching the cruisers. Maybe you saw me pulling out last night around 9pm. Had to store the car hauler there because the Super 8 next door where I was staying would not allow trailers! Wish I could have spent the week at CTC but planned too late for that to happen.

Alotta Pontiacs this year and I think every 1st gen Firebird is a convertible!

Hey J.C. enjoyed talking to you in DIberville. Sorry I had to rush off but my buddies were in a hurry to leave and I had the ice chest with the beer in my car. If you ever come to Baton Rouge give me a call I will buy you lunch and talk about your impressive poncho collection! Steve

I have never been to Cruisin the Coast but a former vehicle of mine was there this year. I had a 75 2wd big block Blazer that I sold to an individual in Virginia about a couple of years ago and he, in turn, sold it to a gentleman in Missisippi. The new owner called me last fall as he had found my name and address in some paperwork that went with the truck. Nice guy and we had a long talk. He called again yesterday to tell me about the Cruisin the Coast and what he has done to the truck. Maybe some of you saw it there? He has taken the top off and had some paint work done on the original paint. Here is what it looked like when I owned it

Yes Steve, you're on. Enjoyed talking about your 65...all old cars have stories and yours surely does have an interesting past. You should tell about your unique 65 history in the tech section.
