I need to verify the year of a timing cover I found in the back of a Chevy truck at a bone yard.
The casting number in front is 482883. The timing marks are 12BTD and 4 ATD. There are 9 threaded holes on the water pump flange.It appears to be Pontiac, I'm hoping it will fit a 70 400? [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif[/img] |

69-74 V8 EXCEPT 301. PONTIAC

Although it will work on those years, the 9 bolt water pump was pre-'69.
