Default reverse lamp switch

I was hoping to see if a switch I have here might be a stand in replacement for my car's original reverse lamp switch;
As I recall my original switch was damaged, and I had to re-assemble it.

I am posting in this sub-forum, because if my memory serves me I pulled this part off of a 1975 Camaro.

stamped in to the top is 162 - which I have guessed to be the final three digits in the part number.

I have guessed that the full part number is 1994162 (but more on this in a moment).

I am trying to determine the correct application of this switch, and was sure that I came across this number before... but I sure can't find it right now.

First, it appears as though GM at some point changed the group number for these switched from 4.054 to 2.698... but maybe i need clarification on this too.

I found in my MPC's (under gourp 2.698) that the two following numbers are listed:
3943657 - noted as 1969-1972 (presumably pre-seatbelt warning)
6270695 - found listed as 73-74, and 1977/1978

I am guessing that the two switches at some point were combined.

I have found the following number listed in the AT listings;
1994163

That last number made me guess that the first four digits on this switch should be '1994'.

That 163 part has additional prongs;
If you are looking at it face on, there is one prong on the far left, and two prongs nintey degrees apart on the far right.

This "162" switch looks identical, except it's missing these three prongs.

Can anyone help me to positively identify it?
