Honeycomb Damage Help
Posted this in the 70-72 Abody group as well.
Hey guys, My nephew was having tires put on at a reputable tire shop and the guy didn’t realize he mounted it on the balancer without the right chuck and damaged the cap area by cracking the poly. They said they’d take care of it but the guy they sent him to with it said he couldn’t fix it. I’m certain this is not the first time so anyone have any ideas how to fix it or should we find another rim and paint them all? I’m the inking endura bumper repair is the same. The bad part is these are 100% original and now will need to be painted. Thanks for your input and help.

I used 3M 05887. https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/p/d/b40071609/
Then OER Honeycomb paint from Classic. I'm happy with it. Just have done it, so no long term capabilities can be noted
