Default 62 Bonneville cowl panel crossover

So my 62 Bonneville was painted hours away, I bought it from my buddy and he delivered it to me. It’s pretty complete, reassembly is almost done, but the one big glaring omission is the cowl panel. Does anyone know if any other models truly cross over on this part? Is it all 62 GM full size models as ebay would have you believe?

Doubt the Chevy stuff will crossover, both wiper arms park towards the passenger side. In a stark contrast to Pontiacs built stateside, Canadian Pontiacs did the same. So even IF there's some interchangeability, you'll need a donor that has wipers which oppose each other and park in the center. HTH

Yeah, I think you'll find that '62 FS Pontiac (US) will interchange, and that's it.

Check Frank's. He likely has a cowl panel for you.

I wasn't sure, but according to Frank's, 61-62 take the same panel, and he has one in stock ($55):

Insofar as compatibility is concerned, the best practice is to never trust eBay. I don't know where they get their interchange information. It's hard enough to trust the sellers you don't know on eBay, but the platform itself can simply be misleading. Good thinking to ask here.

Good luck!

Be careful, there's a difference on the cowel panels between a single speed wiper and a 2 speed wiper system. Single speed wipers are offset & 2 speed wipers over lap each other meeting in the middle if that makes any sense to you. Seems like most 62's came with 2 speed wipers though.

White Catalina is a single speed wiper car

Black Catalina is a 2 speed wiper car.
