The gap on the L side of my hood is larger than the R side. How do I move the hood laterally about 1/8"? There is no further lateral play in the hinge to hood attachment bolts. Also, the rear of the hood needs to come down a bit. Which way do I move the hinge on the fender attachments?

I fought hood issues for a long time. Had them rebuilt and it took me 30 mins to get it aligned for good gaps with the back of the hood sitting flush with the fenders.

Put 2 hands on the side of the hood ..near the hinge area...and firmly push the hood to the wider side.

Providing that your fenders are evenly fit to the doors.

That's too logical and easy, so it can't work, right? I'll do it.

I pushed the hood near the hinge attachment, then I pushed it again. The side gaps are now perfect. So simple. I'm going to lower the front hinge to fender bolts and see if the back comes dow the remaining 1/2 inch.

To suck that hood down in the rear...

Loosen the rear bolt on the hinge ( where is screws into the fender ) and while the hood is open ...PUSH UP on the front edge of the hood a little...and that will drop the rear of the hinge down.....getting you to where you want to go.

Maybe scribe the bolt and washer or mark it how Evah you want....so that you can see how much it moved.
