Default VIN don’t make sense

I need help trying to figure this vin out. I got it off what I was told a 1980 turbo trans am. But this vin isn’t making sense. It says 1975 but the engine code is an E. Plus 2u is a formula Any help would be appreciated

It is a 1975 Formula with 350 4 bbl.

Thanks for the info. Where does E come from. I looked it up on the Pontiac website but no E was shown for engine code.

The 'E' is for the 350 4bbl engine.
The 'U' is for the Formula.
The '5' before the 'N' is the year.
