Default 66 GTO repo hood

Anyone have any feedback on the repop hoods?

Have one on my 67. Slightly lighter than the original and to the best of my knowledge, all of them have a low area near the scoop that needs to be worked. Fit is good. Because it is lighter your springs need to work perfectly! I believe you have to use the repo scoop to get a proper fit of the scoop (it has been many years for me so I'm not 100% on that).

Thank you for the feedback. Trying to decide between using/repairing a 67 OEM hood that I have vs. a repop.

Should you decide to go with a repop I have one in my garage, I don’t know what they cost however I would make it a good deal. + I’m in Pa and you picking it up could be an option. Hood as it appeared on my 65
