1968 GTO trunk repair section
I need a correct 1968 left side trunk section that goes up to the top where the rear seat bracing is - can I buy just the one LH section? Or will this require me to purchase the ~$500 + truck freight "full meal deal" full trunk pan and cut only what I need?
The rest of the factory metal is solid. The one I got said it is for 68-72 but the arch/brace up to the rear seat brace isn't even close, so I think its really for a 69-72.

The best panel I’ve found is the “Classic Reproductions” stamping.
https://www.vintagepartsclub.com/gm-...2-made-in-usa/ It reaches farther back into the rear shelf area and the stamping itself is spot on. One of the few panels I’ve found that you could cut diagonally through add the ribs/stamped definition and have things line up 100%. I can double check be part number when I get home from vacation if you like. You can also order it with the brace below it. |
