WalMart batteries are made by Johnson Controls - to WalMart's specifications (in other words, how can we make them cheap).
I don't know which battery Old Blue purchased at WalMart for The top of the line EverStart 75 series sells for $79.97 at the WalMart in Elgin, IL (based on WalMart's website). The Everstart 65 series battery is $109.97 The warranty is 36 month free replacement. The top of the line ACDelco 65PG has a 42 month free replacement warranty and we sell them for $101.55. I prefer the name brand battery with a great reputation, a better warranty and a lower price to an "EverStart" built to WalMart's own specifications. |
