Default 72 Pontiac Lemans Wagon Sundance?

Not mine: 72 Pontiac Lemans Station Wagon for sale in Alberta, $6,500.00 Canadian or under $5,000.00 USD

Looks to be Sundance Orange with a Saddle interior currently. Add states it has a running 400 ci engine. Needs brake work from sitting (indoors)

Formula wheel (from a Firebird?), column shift, 3rd row reverse seat for the drive in.

Needs some body work or just drive it and have some fun.

Emissions decal seems to confirm the wagon had a 400.

Not certain what the PE or 201 represents: tranny id?

Data plate not yet received

PE is the 400/2bbl code in 1972

Price was lowered a bit. Hopefully it has a good home.

The data plate is hard to read fully but the 36 confirms the Lemans wagon body style. 02B production date.

Z seems to indicate a Fremont, California car with 00752(0 or 1) as the body number.

203 for the interior colour (Saddle bench should be 253??) with A52 for the bench seat. B90 is for the chrome door window frame moldings.

65 / 11 indicates it was a Sundance Orange lower / Cameo White upper paint. Would be interesting to see some original pictures.

Agree with Adam; cool car.

Talking

I now own this 72 lemans wagon. According to the VIN it is a 350 2bbl car not a 400 but as I have. It actually seem the car I won’t know until I get the car home in about 5 -6 weeks. It will be like Christmas. From my investigation the steering wheel was an option on the lemans in 1972 ( the formula option ). I will post more about the car when I find your more.

That particular wheel is a 79 -81 wheel as it would of been black if original in 72 and you can tell by the finger grips it's the later style wheel. either way it looks good in there. Good score in it. Enjoy

Congrat's on Buying the wagon! I am glad it went to a good home!

It also seems to have 72 Luxury Leman's Grills installed in it. It will be interesting to see what parts are actually installed on it when you get it.
