Has anyone else with an automatic noticed this:
Pull it down into 1st from a stop, shift up to 2nd at about 4500 and it does not shift. It then hits the rev limiter a couple of times, then shifts into second. It does the same thing from 2nd to third.

I am thinking about getting one of the aftermarket programs. That is if it's not something wrong with the trans.

Jack, I am not sure about the electronic automatics, but my 700R4 will not shif under a load until it hits the rpm level that where it wants to shift. If I have my foot to the floor, no matter what I do with the shifter, the tranny does it's own thing on the upshift....
