Drove 550 miles yesterday to get to Pontiac heaven race. Left the race cars at home in the trailer but still showed up like I have since Steve's first poniac heaven race to support it. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Had a good time yesterday Steve, that Sammy Hagar concert across the street at the Casino was the icing on the cake.

If the kids didn't have to work today we'd still be there.

Thumbs up

An excellent event at a pro caliber venue. Had a great time and my car ran like a tiger.
Couldn't ask for more...
Thanks, Steve!

Well, still resting after a very demanding and satisfying weekend.

I wish to thank everyone who attended this year. It means a lot to me and to the Pontiac and Nostalgia (Sunday) community. Our new location is a real winner and now sets the new standard for any Pontiac event anywhere.
Our show was on the grass with a large shade pavilion with seating and it overlooked Firebird lake and the Casino/Hotel in the distance.
My prayers were answered in many ways and we maintained our 16 year average event temps of a low about 50 and a high about 80 and no humidity! Does not get any better.
The swap meet was smaller than average due to a misunderstanding of the permit licenses needed and will be corrected for next year.
Even though my costs went way up I was able to maintain almost the same entrance fees.

Special thanks to nothing short of an outstanding team who worked with me to staff the entire weekend. At risk of missing someone, my hat is off to the following dedicated friends/family who worked through it all without a gripe-

Todd Mitten- show director and in charge of spectator side
Pete Brennan- in charge of pit side
Matt Webster ( nephew ) Race director
Keith Collier- just about everything as needed, Fueler mock up
Jane Webster ( sister )
George & Jody Krasnowski and girls
Brad Nabours
Tom & Hunter Locke
Bob Hamm & Ken Beer who cover the tower when my voice went out
Wayne Fern
Greg Harrelson
JR & Ray Lewis
Ken Bump
Josh Radfield
and a few others.
We all worked together very well and pulled it off! 19 hours on Sat, then a half dozen hours off and then another 10-12 hours on Sunday! This does not count all the time put in by Todd, Pete, Keith and myself prior to.

Thanks to this outstanding list of sponsors who believed in me and put up money to help me run this weekend-
Network Automotive Service Centers
Glenn's Pontiac Garage
AllPontiac.com
Too Hotties mens haircuts
Kauffman Racing
Reliable Diesel
Ram Air Restoration
National Parts Depot
Quick Guns
Cactus GTOs ( GTOAA )
Desert Renegades ( POCI 65 )
Ames Performance
Butler Performance
Space Age Auto Paint Store
The Thompsons
Zimmerman Racing Engines
Classic Muscle Cars LLC
Old Pueblo ( POCI 25 )
Todd Harding Auto Swap
Arizona Pontiac Power Group
Raceway Bar & Grill

We are in planning/negotiating for next year and will likely be in late March
Results to be posted soon on event web site.
Some pics to be posted as well.
Thank you all again
