We just scored a decent chunk of Hamburger and Hot Dog buns from our local festival that didn't get used that we will be bringing. Chris or anyone from PY PLEASE PM me with what you may need and I'll let you know how many we are bring/have left to bring. Somewhere in the 10 packs of each which would be around 80-100 buns For Hot Dogs and Burgers.

Yes! Not sure what I'd do without Emily.

Rob, this would be appreciated. We have a very difficult time fitting all the buns in the truck on our Wal-Mart run on Thursday night. I think we go through about 175 of each type bun so anything you can provide will help make more space for us to buy something else!

I apologize for not participating in this topic until this point. Had a rough last 6 weeks. All is good now and the PY guys are ready to take down Norwalk in style. I look forward to seeing everyone.

Racers: It seems like the racing goes later and later on Friday night. I always hold back a little bit of everything for you guys. Come early or come late. We'll be there.

We'll also be adding marinated chicken strips to the grill.

Carole will be there early on thursday, She'll have them all in the RV so someone will get a hold of you on an exact amount we have before you make your wal mart run.

Okay, so I want to bring a dish to share. My specialty is hot and spicy chip dips. They can be a cold type - freshly made salsa or cream cheese mixture with fresh hot peppers - or a hot type bean/cheese/chorizo.
Would there be room on a grill to heat up the hot cheese dip or should I stick to a cold dip and figure out a way to keep it cool (I was thinking of placing the bowl of dip on a larger bowl of ice).

Please let me know your thoughts.

Oh yeah, when I say it's hot - IT'S HOT. I don't mess around with medium/bland stuff.

We will have several hot plates and a couple of crock pots available.

Ccass,
Awesome. I will bring the infamous bean dip. I'll make two varieties - regular and nitromethane. That way there will be some for those who can't handle the heat.........

Agreed! I've seen people in previous years (swap meet vendors??? folks who aren't on PY) go thru the line and pile their plates high with "to go" burgers, dogs, you name it.....even though the line is long. Would love to be able to say "We're not here to feed you for the weekend!" Some just take their mountainous plates and leave without even sharing their time.

It's 5 a.m. and I just finished making the first of three dishes I'm bringing.

Trust me, we have plenty of food! HW, We don't want anyone to feel like they 'have' to bring something. If people want to bring something, it's much appreciated because variety is always good. If people want to come and just eat it all, that's great too. Do it because you enjoy sharing!
