6/9/05, ordered a set of coated, D-port, auto, with 3" collectors for my '77 T/A. Paid $722.46 (inc. s/h) via PayPal. Ron quoted me 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Sept of '05, D-Port, coated, 3" collectors for a Gen 2 bird. Paid $600.00, said I got a deal because I bought a 474 short block from him. Was told I was 4th on the list back in May...

You guys might want to ask this question on ALL the other Pontiac forums and tri y dealers, I all but paid for a set last March, I was told 3-6 week wait but I had an issue that forced me to hold off a few months, that was before I ever heard of this forum where I discovered the truth. I'll bet there are LOTS more people who have been taken, more than just the guys who post here. Would be interesting to supeona his paypal and bank account records, bet you would be surpised.

Something very similar happened (is still ongoing) at a Ford 7.3 Powerstroke diesel forum, Kim Lux from Canada had a "guranteed fix" for a fuel issue, he made everyone sign a non disclosure agreement (so they could not talk about how bad his fix is) he took their $1,800-$2,300 dollars and totally screwed their injectors up, every one I know (10 guys) who bought a set has since spent an additional $2,000-$2,500 to replaced all 8 injectors with stock units, the non disclosure agreement also says they cannot sell the injectors as someone could "reverse engineer his discoveries and repairs" they no longer get e-mails returned either, to add insult to injury several of the guys had sent their injectors back to KL in Canada for "adjustments" and NEVER received them back, I know one guy in Atlanta who's truck sat 9 months without injectors and KL would not reply to any attempts to contact him, he finally bought a set of injector cores and put his truck back together.

I just spoke with Ron. His loan didn't come through so he wasn't able to hire anyone to help with the headers, but things are slowing down at his work so he's able to spend some time working on them. He says he's not sure he'll be able to sell any more after this, but he will finish the orders he already has. I paid $500 for uncoated A body dport headers in June '05.

Thanks for the info FritzCat. I paid about $725 for coated round port for a second gen Bird in Aug 06. looks like I'm low on the list, lol. I'll wait.

Oldblueponcho.....you may not be as low on the list as I am.....I paid about $720 for coated d-ports for my '67 Lamnas in August of '06 around mid-month or so.

Ron said he was constructing a run of d-ports and I would have them by Oct 1st.......

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA......I'm such a CHUMP!!!!!

67 Lamnas. You're actually probly a bit ahead of me. I was later in August, after the 20th. I wasn't in a major hurry for the headers. Everything on my build has turned into a nightmare with lots of setbacks, so I took it all into account when I ordered them and decided to do it then so that maybe they'd be ready by the time I needed them. I was hoping to have them by spring though. I can see where the rest of you are with the long wait, especially the guys in the 2 year range. It's a shame that it's gone this way. Ron seemed have every intention of delivering the headers to all, and I still like to believe that. (Call me a dreamer)

Oldblueponcho,

Here's my deal......I'm losing roughly 50 horsepower by not having headers and have since ordered and received a set of Doug's. They're sitting, waiting patiently for warmer weather to arrive so I can install them.

I'd much rather run the Tri-ys, and what will happen is, I will put on the Doug's this spring, drive to the exhaust shop with open headers to have the system refabbed (changing from RARE 2-1/2" outlet manifolds) and I'll arrive home to find that UPS has just dropped off the tri-ys.

Now who's the dreamer?

ROTFLMAO. that's about how life goes for me too, so it wouldn't surprise me.

$677 on 12/15/2005 for coated D-ports with 3" collectors for '65 GTO. Ron told me if I ordered before the end of December, he would cover the shipping - HA! I will gladly take a refund or agree to pay the shipping if he is ever inclined to build mine..

Paid for mine on what was supposed to be the second run...Feb/05...4-6 weeks. Been so damn long forgot what I paid for them, but must have been in the neighborhood with everyone else. 69 GTO, 455-D-port, 4-spd. Bought a set of Doug's...fit and work great. Still hoping the Tri-ys show up at the door someday. But given up holding my breath...would have been dead a looong time ago. This has been the only poor experience I have had with anyone in the Pontiac community.

Guys, Come on. It has been over 2 years since that con happened. I mean, they stopped talking about the ebay car scammers a long time ago, and those guys were a lot bigger deal than ConRon. I have a shiney new set of Mad Dogs on now, so ConRon can KMA.
