Default Michigan Car Titles Police Title ?

I know some Michigan Titles can be orange indicating a rebuilt / Salvage.
Looking at a car that runs a clean/spotless CarFax but the seller is stated to have a "Police Title" Possible it was seized?
This is a new one to me but I am clueless on it.

Thanks Nick. It kind of threw me after the clean CarFax. Just don't want to gamble on it.

Contact the state police or title office and ask what this means.

I read a little bit about Michigan salvage titles on the internet and I think the seller may be referring to a salvage title. A special police officer has to inspect any salvaged vehicle before a title can be issued.
