I had the same problem. Look at ebay seller columbiaparts. They list seat tracks made for Chevelle/GTO 64 65 66 67 68 69 72 at $24.95/pair. I bought a pair and just received them--- have not yet checked for fit. Seller claims they will work for a '64/'65 GTO. Will post results.

Sorry, I read your posting too quickly. Seat tracks are different on '66 and newer from the '64/'65's. I don't know of a source other than buying used bucket seats for the tracks or finding used power bucket seat assemblies.

Still don't know if the brackets will work on my '64. As I said, will keep you posted.

You are probably stuck with buying a pair of bucket seats just for the tracks. Sometimes, at swap meets, the right ones are cheap. Remember, Chvelle, F85, Skylark, or Tempest bucket seats will work for '64/'65. Maybe Corvair, Impala, and some others will work, also.

These guys:

http://myworld.ebay.com/ebaymotors/b...ndperformance/

sell seat tracks for '64-'72 GTO's. They claim they work for all years. may be worth a call. I did check mounting dimensions to the floor, and '64/65 are the same as the later ones.
