Am I correct that the VIN listed in the ad 136637R131296 decodes as a 69 Camaro Hardtop coupe? I hope that is a Typo of some sort.

I know you can make a Camaro out of a Firebird, but I've never seen it go the other way.

Tasteful and understated. I especially like how the air cleaner is positioned to get the hottest air off the radiator and they went with a smaller brake booster to, I assume, make room for more stickers. You know it's a quality build because you can access the shocks through the trunk.

75 Trans AM 455HO 4-speed in Illinois at $56K. Seller sounds like they'll deal on it. What a drop dead beautiful car. I wonder what a 71 T/A would look like in this color with a white stripe and shaker? I say that because I am building a 72 T/A clone, which is a 1980 T/A WS6 T-Top car with a red interior and a 72 nose on it. I can paint it any color I want, and I was leaning towards a lucy blue standard colors. Now I think I may mix it up a bit, but I'll probably change my mind again. I was originally thinking I'd paint it 1980 Turbo T/A Maroon with a 73 reddish chicken (I already bought it), and that would be a cool one too.

65 Pontiac Tempest convertible 4-speed with a hotrod LS engine (I don't keep up with them) at $31K in CA. Engine looks like someone was a fixin' to make a heat shield of some sorts? Beautiful car and I think well worth the asking if it runs well. A 65 GTO is coveted and this is close.

69 Firebird project at $10K in Michigan. No engine or transmission. Hood and a 4-speed are apparently not part of the deal? Reads like the quarters and floor pan were welded in, but not finished. I used to own this exact car without the Cordova top. It was a 69 400 4-speed I bought out of a Pick-A-Part in Riverside CA about 1986. They would cherry pick the cool cars and sell them, and I think I paid $700 for it. It ran and was 100% stock. Carted that around for 10 years and sold it in 1997 for $1500. The quarter panel had a dent, but it was a rust free CA car. If ifs and buts were chips and nuts, Oh what a merry Christmas we would have. Side note - that car was a bone stock NM 400 4-speed and had #62 heads.
