Very little actual information in the text about the car (other than it has a 6.4l V-8...hey buddy, it's a 389.) The interior appears to be restored to original, but I wonder if the interior is the correct leather or if they used vinyl instead.

The 'super duty' air cleaner decal is a new level of cheeziness I haven't seen before.

I wish people would figure out they don't need to give the whole history of the last century in big multicolored letters, plus they don't have to include 20 duplicate photos of the car from each angle.

X2

Beautiful car. The upholstrey reminds me of the 1985 Olds Calais 500 Indy pace car.

If you were interested but wanted to be sure before you booked a flight from Portland OR. to see it, you'd be glad for pics to show there were no 'gory details' anywhere.

The body looks straight, all chrome looks to fit properly and no chips in the paint.

Now, did you notice the two rubber bumpers missing where the gas door is open (17th pic)?

I dont think there is any danger of hidden flaws. Thats why all the pics are a good thing!! Looks like the guy is very upfront!!

Don't get me wrong, the more pictures the better. However, if there are multiple photos showing the exact same angle they don't help any...if they put up fifty photos, they should be fifty different photos.

yes VERY NICE car.
Brings back memories
my first car was a 59 StarChief.
Had those same tail lights which were impossible to find, even for a 6yr old car.
Do you know how many "extra" drive in attendees you can fit in one of those trunks?

That's a joke right? I don't see that car going over 40K on a great day in a good economy

I was watching this one too and it sold for $32,699. which while high, may be reasonable for that car.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEWAX:IT
To go to $106k without a sale isn't possible. If it went that high legitimately then the other one would have gone much higher.
It will be back again.....and again.....at no sale.
