I received my drums quickly. I have removed one from the package to make a comparison check. I have photographed the new drum next to a used drum. "CORDONE" is cast into the drums. My pictures don't show it. I'll take another picture and post it tomorrow.

kirban update

Appreciate you posting the photos drums are really quite nice....I see you own a Firebird......if you ever seen that big firebird poster or the firebird hardbound book the 1967 ram air 400 in the photo was my car years ago...that is how I discovered they had optional splitters similar to the 1964-65 GTOs.....really regret selling that car....prices were terrible back when I sold it as Camaros were the hot item for f body cars....

I had the long branch headers 455 aluminum intake on it ram air hodo tack multplex stereo.....a mover was the license plate on the back.

denniskirban@yahoo.com

went to a guy near Chicago.....owned it ti lhis death no idea where it is today....the guy owned a company that made the windings for williams pinball machines.....

member pinball machines?

kirban update

appreciate posting photos....project has done quite well for my market. I got Cardone working on another project where again I supplied the idea and sample they are investing the money to make it happen. Saw the first prototype the other day and of course it is not correct......

anyone in the reproduction business can attest to those things happening. This part I am 99% certain will fit the F body cars.....did not do it for that market but turns out it fits....once we get it made.

Thanks for helping to bring this new product to market Dennis. I used my new Dennis Kirban "CARDONE" drums last weekend during our first points race of the year. The new aluminum drums worked better at holding my car at the line while stagging at 2300, 2400 & 2500 RPM, they worked way better than my old used craigslist aluminum drums. The price of these new aluminum drums, is a steal in my opinion, compared to what I was paying for used junk.

Dennis, I remember your monthly publication back in the late seventies and early eighty's. STILL HAVE SOME AROUND . I came so close to pulling the trigger on a crated Ram Air V you had for sale for $2000.00. Those were the days. Good to see you are still involved. Sincerely,Paul

I see that Cardone still sells these AL drums. One for 10 bolt and one for 12bolt. I think the difference is in the hole for the axle flange. Anyone know if either would fit an Olds 12/10 bolt? Or what the flange dimensions are. I can obviously measure my Olds rear.
