Just got back from the show.

Ran into several PY members at the show and many others that i have known over the years. Good to see and talk to everyone.

Had to haul bought parts home in the car this time. Crazy trying to get everything in the car. Thought i wouldn't find much. I know some of the guys are still laughing.

Had a good time . Great weather.

This was the best BOP in recent memory for me. Perfect weather and lots of cars and people. Nobody wanted to leave!

Yeah, we missed you Jerry. I took a few with my I-pad....not very good for taking pics apparently, but here they are.
Jay's 74 TA, Kyle's 68 HO Firebird and two cars that I really liked. There was a '66 GTO there that I should have gotten..black with red interior, factory 4spd tripower car. Beautiful!

I managed to catch the very tail end of the show but unfortunately didn't get much of a chance to meet and talk. Did a quick walk-around and grabbed a burger and by then it was already awards time and I had to run. But the weather was perfect and the cars were really beautiful.

A couple of things struck me coming from Augusta. Pontiacs are extremely rare around here (as in non-existent) even at local shows so it was great to see all those GTOs in one spot. But a bit surprised to see that my Lemans vert would have been an oddity. And all the cars were "dressed out" nicely and the couple of guys I got to talk to really knew Pontiacs. The few owners that I've met around here seem to know very little about their cars in comparison.

Last year it was rain, this year it was conflicts with my job. Hopefully I'll be able to get my Lemans there next year.
