Actually, it's Taber. They were a pretty big dealer in downtown Atlanta for decades, along with Boomershine. My '66 GTO came from Taber, my '68 from Boomershine..

My bad...Poncho Mike clarified his car sold new at Tabor Pontiac in Toccoa, Ga. I just made the assumption because I found a link saying it was in Atlanta. SO...There was a Taber Pontiac in Atlanta. What a coincidence with spelling that close.

Link to Toccoa dealership https://tabormotorcompany.com/

Seems if it was GM made, they sold it.

That's an interesting site. I'd heard about the Indian figure being used at a HS somewhere locally but I did not know there were many of these figures and other similar figures across the continent. I happen to know where one of the Paul Bunyan figures is also...at a tire shop near the ATL airport. It's been there for at least 40 years that I know of. Thanks for the link.

That's news to me! I had no idea that there was a TabOr Pontiac.
By the way, I'll throw a Boomershine pic in too since I mentioned it earlier. I took this photo about 10 years ago. Funny, I've seen the photo pop up in web searches. I guess I've posted it around enough that other people are posting it also.
