Default WTT: My LSX Z28 for Classic Pontiac

I have a low mileage 2000 Z28 in great shape with very tasteful and well done mods.

If anyone that has a classic Pontiac of equal value is interested in getting into a very reliable, modern day, nice LSX, please let me know.

Thanks!

2000 Z28 55,XXX miles. M6, Leather, T-top, Traction Control.
REALLY WANTING TRADE FOR EQUAL VALUE CLASSIC PONTIAC OVER ANYTHING.

History - Third owner, first owner was a female that had it from 2000-2005. Second owner had it from 2005-2006. I bought the car in 2006 and had it since. I had taken meticulous care of the car. It is not a daily driver, just something I take out on weekends to go to a car meet or show.

This car is extremely reliable, well taken care of and respected. Everything done to this car was done within reason. This is not a race car nor is it treated like one. Parts were carefully selected to maintain a comfortable and reliable ride while making the car more fun. All this while maintaining reliability.

Engine - Stock bottom end ls1 with a Torquer V2 Cam 114lsa, PRC 921 springs, LS6 Ported Oil Pump, comp lifters, Chromoly 7.4" Pushrods, Titanium Retainers/Seats/Seals, ARP head bolts (Installed in 2006 right at 40,000 miles). New Battery as of Sept. 2013.

Exhaust - Pacesetter Longtubes, ORY, Borla 3inch catback, Electric QTP Cutout.

Transmission - Swapped from auto to a T56 with around 1000-2000 miles on it. LS7 Clutch, Tick Master Cylinder.

Rearend - Stock 10 Bolt with 3.42 gears.

Brakes - Stock calipers, drilled and slotted rotors and new HAWK pads with less than 2000mi.

Tune - Outstanding tune done by LSX Power Tuning.

Tires - Almost new Sumitomo 275/40-17 Tires with less than 3000 miles. The wheels are 35th Anniversary Camaro SS special edition wheels.

Sound - Alpine Head unit, kicker 6.5's in middle, 2 L5 Solo Barac's in a custom T-top compartment box with a Z28 Emblem. Unsure on what amp I used at the moment but I can get it later.

Interior - Grey leather seats from a 98 z28 in good condition.

Suspension - BMR adjustable Torque arm, Adjustable panhard bar, LCA relocation brackets, and tubular rear control arms.

Rearend - Swapped to a m6 4 channel rear with 3.42 gears to correct the gearing after the T56 Swap.

Recently Replaced - AC Compressor, Accumulator, expansion valve, vacuumed and recharged. AC blows COLD

Spare Parts to go with the car not installed - Fast 90/92 Intake/throttle body, Motive 4.10 gears and Thunderracing diff cover, Spare original 4 channel rearend with 3.23 gears (54,000mi), Tubular Subframe connectors, Holley Big block style coil covers, GTO coil covers, the billet grill pictured (no longer on car) and an assortment of stock parts removed during suspension swap, trans swap, and many other randoms like 3 sets of headlights and random interior parts.

The car back in it's hay day when it consumed my life dyno'd at 370 RWHP through a 3800 stall and a 4l60e transmission. I did the numbers in the past and came to the conclusion that the car makes 460 HP at the crank and would have around 390 at the rear wheels with it's current setup as a T56 Car.

The car has NEVER seen sticky tires because I had not installed subframe connectors. But in 2006 this car ran a 12.42 on BF Goodrich KDW street tires with a slipping transmission (from 2-3shift) at near sea level. This transmission is no longer part of the car but just shows what it was minimally capable of.

Issues -

1.) Cruise Control does not work at this time. It stopped working after the swap and I had not got around to fixing this yet. I believe it is just an issue with adjustment of the brake sensor but I have not had the time to figure this out as of yet. I will probably get this done soon.

I absolutely love this car and by all means do not want to get rid of it. I do however want to get into a classic Pontiac, the 60's and 70's Pontiacs had been my dream cars. IE Tempest, Lemans, Firebird or GTO.

Here are some pictures and a video of the car. I do not know how to insert the video into the page so here is a link. This is the newest exhaust setup. The new exhaust has almost an exotic sound but semi quiet unless you get on it. However with the cutout open, the car sounds like a drag car. The camera difference is huge but is hard to hear how much due to how the Android camera is.
