Who is going? Would like to see some other pontiacs and maybe get some ideas for my rough but reliable 64.

I'm gonna drive my tempest down from Clemson unless something happens to change that. I have been going to this show for close to 20 years and it just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I wish they would have it on My Classic Car. Where are you driving your tempest from and what year is it?

I'm in Sumter and my Tempest is a 66 convertible. I'm off the 16th and 17th so I'm good for the first 2 days.

Mines rough around the edges as well. I'm going to see the cars and hang out with car people.

I have never seen a Tempest there but I will be sure to be on the lookout this year. Have you eaten at RIOZ the brazilian steakhouse over near Broadway at the Beach? Its amazing.

Dont usually make it over to Broadway area. We leave the car at the show and walk everywhere. We stay down by the skywheel.

There are vendors but not like other shows. A few BIG names show up but you dont see very many mom and pops. Its a huge show though.

I'm going. Will bring my 65 Goat if I get it back on the road by then. Finishing a front suspension rebuild, disc brake install and new 389 with tripower. Also rebuilt the steering column. Should drive much better than it used too. Can't wait.

If you need a spare pair of hands, I wouldn't mind helping you out as I plan on doing pretty much everything you are doing to my Tempest this year as well. Plus, I'm good for comic relief.

Thanks for the offer. Waiting on my heads and then finish engine assembly and install. Still have to run the front brake line from the passenger side and bleed brakes. This was my first time doing the suspension. I got pretty good at removing the springs. I did it like four times trying to get the height right.
