Default Space saver or full size spare in 72 TA.

Working on my 72 TA project. Getting down to the end and trying to figure out if the car had a space saver of a full size spare.
I have read that the position of the hold down will let you know or is it the position of the jack locator.
all my 1970 and 1971 TAs have full size spares. 1972's are a little different from what I have seen.

Just curious if anyone knows the details.

Yes position of jack bracket and hold down loop will tell u which spare the car came with from factory. Also, the Jack sticker will tell you if it’s the original one.

Thanks for the info.
I have books for the 70 and 71 but my 72 body manual is missing a few pages and those are the areas missing.

That clears it up. Looks like it is a space saver for this car. This car was a street strip car and has had the trunk area altered for a fuel tank and battery. most of the telltale signs are missing. That explains what's left of the sideways jack bracket on the upper part of the trunk floor. it was cut off flush and I could not figure out the layout.

Makes sense now.

LOL I learned this the hard way. Lets just say I got a useless tire unless I get a flat in front of my house.
